Viator gave me timed tickets for 10:30 when the museum didn’t actually open until 11:30. Frustrating! Museum is awesome.

Don't miss these shows!

The American Craft exhibit was good. The Mexican muralists and their influence on American artists was spectacular. The museum itself is a grand space. All in all a wonderful experience.

Correct site to go to

We were not aware that this is a site that DOES NOT belong to the Whitney and is aiming for profit. It does not give the choice of a senior citizen (they pay $18 instead of $25) and also do not allow for a refund in case of a mistake as it happened to us. In our case we bought three tickets and we are only two. We got a small note at the bottom to let us know that the transaction... is non refundable. I do not know if they will allow this opinion online because it recommands to go DIRECTLY to whitney.org.

Viator was easy to use online. The Whitney was hospitable and readily directed us to the proper person to receive the voucher and give us our tickets.

I never received the link to retrieve my tickets so we were unable to go to the museum. I didn't want to buy new tickets.

Awesome

The exhibit was amazing and the entry process simple. We saw the Andy Warhol Exhibit in the morning. There were long lines but since we got our tickets with viator we didn’t wait in them.

Still had to stand in line

If I had known that there was no difference between buying from viator and buying my ticket from the cashier, I would not have bought it from viator. I would have bought it directly from the Whitney on line.

Viator said we could cut the lines and that was completely untrue. Buy the tix directly from the museum!

Admission to the Whitney for seniors is $18. This was not an option on the Viator site. I recommend using the whitney site for buy tickets
