A great experience which was extremely well run by our chef Martin. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel comfortable. You couldn’t ask for more from a teacher. He really took into consideration the groups goals and style. Would highly recommend this class to others!

Very cool cooking class! César is a very smart, patient and knowledgable chef. You can see how much he loves what he does and beside the very delicious dishes we made, that was what made this experience memorable.

it was lovely stopping by the trees to learn what food they produced and going to the market however when I asked on viator chat I was told we were making salad, sweets, a surprise and something ekse., an entree?. instead it started 40 min late and ingredients were cooked and served, not part of a dish, and we had a salad with fruits to taste them and a salsa and rice and totillas., and a mole soup.. we did not prepare any entree dishes which was disappointing to me

Patty, it was incredible to have you in our class but I have to make some clarifications so that your comment is better appreciated. This is an experience to enjoy, relax, learn and enjoy. We have an internal agenda with times to make it more enjoyable and not look like a boring or monotonous class. We don't start late, we do an icebreaker so that all the members get to know each other where we give them tea, coffee, water, go to the restrooms and take a break for everything that comes, because we did a walking tour of the neighborhood which is important because we like to present our community and our history. On the menu we made a mole, an extremely honorable traditional dish that you call soup, it is a main dish in Oaxaca, which I would like to emphasize. This is an experience that has taken us more than 5 years to perfect recipes, especially from traditional moles to vegan moles, with the closest and most realistic flavors to those that contain meat or animal broths. We want to make it clear that we explain traditional herbs, we use molcajetes and the best ingredients, in addition to sharing that our menu is deeper than "ingredients were cooked and served, not part of a dish, and we had a salad with fruits to taste them and a salsa and rice and tortillas., and a mole soup.. "your comment has a hint of annoyance, we also have to say that we answer all questions, and our description is clear. We would love to see you again at etnofood, but we also invite you to enjoy, relax, we know how sensitive covid-19 has made us, so receive a big hug from our team and if you need anything, it will be a pleasure to assist you like the hundreds of people who have congratulated us, recommended us and created a memorable memory of their stay in Oaxaca. Great vegetarian cooking class with fabulous teacher

Martin, our chef/teacher was so knowledgeable and patient! The food we created was amazing but made with a multitude of ingredients, and I’m sure it was a bit like herding cats to keep us all on task. But he did that and we learned a ton. It was also a great way to meet people and we had a fabulous group to cook with. I’d highly recommend this experience.

We had the cutest and most adorable cooking guide, who was very passionate about food ans Oaxaca! A really Nice experience, cozy and great food! We cooked a traditional wedding dish, it was Nice to Eat something Else then Tacos.
