Orange Beach Kid-Friendly Private Inshore Fishing Experience
We waited at the dock listed on the ticket for 20 min until someone asked around looking for our charter captain. The "good" boat was broken so they took us to a boat at the other end of the marina. Then said "we got everything ready for you, what kind of charter did you book" how did you get it ready if you don't know what we booked? We were then driven 30 min from the marina to a spot where there weren't even any bites, then Amy asked Ty to take us to the good spot, apparently it was his first day as captain (perAmy) and he didn't know the spots. The new spot had no bites either. We paid $275 for our lines to be in the water a total of 23 minutes. Yes I timed it because it was that big of a joke. Ty kept asking if we wanted some music we would say yes he would play 1 song and turn it off then ask again a few min later. It was not a good experience. And a complete rip of money wise. I contacted the company so they could rectify the situation but got no response.
We did the two hour kids fishing trip with Captain Don and Amy and we had a blast! Everyone caught fish on the trip, including croakers, grunts, trout, and catfish. Don and Amy knew exactly where the fish would be and were very helpful with getting bait on the poles and taking the fish off the hook. Our kids (age 10 and 3) had so much fun and two hours was just the right amount of time for their ages. We would definitely do this trip again! Highly recommended!!!

Get out on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and try to catch some fish on this Orange Beach fishing charter. Departing from Bear Point Marina, you'll cruise out to sea with a small group of your family or friends. Fishing gear and licenses are provided, as well as fish cleaning for what you catch.

Everyone caught fish

Fishing trip was okay and at least we all caught some small fish in a few locations. A few dolphin also were spotted nearby. One could tell that Captain Don was distracted and not engaged for the trip.
