I have been on so many private wine tours around the world and I must say this was the worst ever. while the guide was nice and the other 2 guests who joined us amazing, the structure of the tour was terrible with only two small glasses of champagne for an 10.5 hour trip. also it was not private with other group tours joining everything our group did. there could of easily been another couple of winery visits in the timeframe and should have been actual tasting of multiple types of champagne. beyond disappointed and viator should give me back my money!

Ask for Pamela, she was smart, fun, engaging and an excellent driver. The Moet & Chandon tour by Mariana was informative and thorough, with impressive facilities including the exhibits and tasting room, and an intimate tour of the Pere et Fils 6th generations of winemakers was a special experience. My only suggestion would be to choose a more traditional and less contemporary location for lunch. 5 stars!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the champagne tour and we were accompanied by a terrific guide, Dimitri. He was prompt, knowledgeable and made our tour so much fun! We toured Moet Chandon and Pierre Morlet champagne houses and both were exceptional. We especially enjoyed the hospitality at the Morlet house. I would highly recommend this tour!

Valentin was great -- we were able to see a lot of sights, the van was comfortable, and our guide was knowledgable and very friendly. We also were able to taste a lot and the food was cool. It was not too rushed and the timing was great.

Loved tour - learned so much about the whole process and have a new appreciation for the work tha goes into the making of champagne. Could have skipped lunch - food was not so good. Also, this other tour group jumped into our tour which was annoying. It was supposed to be just our group and the addition of their group is what took away from 5 star tour. Annoying guy from other tour group who decided to monopolize tour. Other than that it was great.

This tour is definitely not as described...we were dropped off at Reims Cathedral to do a self guided tour, the tour guide did not even come in with us. We also did not see grapes pressed or wine blended even though it was possible to do so in early September. Tour guide was more interested in letting the tourists sleep in the van rather than giving them lots of information on the region. Moet and Chandon was fantastic, the other winery was dirty and rather disgusting. Disappointing.

We loved the trip and it's authenticity. Herbert was fantastic and provided not only champagne region and methodology, he gave us a wonderful history lessen while driving to Reims. The tour of Moet-Chandon was interesting (like going to one of the majors in Napa - you should see one, but no reason to see two). Lunch was very good but the company of the small group was even better. Touring a small champagne house was ABSOLUTELY the best! Wow, this is what it is all about, meeting the craftsman, his family, his dog, how he does it by hand! So glad we got the chance to do this tour.
