Joel Rocks!!

Our guide Joel was more than amazing. He was knowledgeable, funny and extremely accommodating. We all learned interesting facts about the local culture and are more appreciative of Quintana Roo. He brought us to a Cenote off the beaten path and we had the place all to our own. I highly recommend Viator and Joel. Thank you Joel for the fun memories.

Excellent Private Tour - Tulum Ruins & Cenote Swim in Caves and Open Fresh Water
Jessie_G
, Jan 2021
Our tour guide was Johnny an he was truly an amazing tour guide. From the minute he arrived he was most helpful as my dad is in a wheelchair/scooter. He took very good car of my dad (pushing him around everywhere so he didn't feel left out). Our first stop was a great little Mexican restaurant in Playa del Carmen where we had an excellent breakfast. We then headed to the Ruins in Tulum. Johnny was extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan history and culture. He spoke impeccable English and was brought along a presentation of visual materials which made the description of the archaeological ruins at Tulum that much more interesting and complete. After our time at the Ruins we headed to the caves to swim. What an awesome experience. He took great pictures of my family and also helped my niece snorkel as she never has and was nervous. He was very patient with her. We then stopped at the open water Cenote and spent some time jumping in the water there. Our last stop was a great local taco place for dinner in Playa Del Carmen and we got some more excellent food. In short, it was an amazing and memorable day and Johnny was a great tour guide. My family and I would highly recommend him to anybody wanting a guide in Mexico. When we go back we will definitely be in contact with them to request Johnny for more tours.

A Real Teaching Tour of Tulum

, Jan 2021
Johnny was an outstanding tour guide. He had an exceptional knowledge of the Mayan history and culture. His ability to communicate in English was excellent and his unique presentation of visual material he had, made the description of the archaeological ruins at Tulum that much more interesting and complete. Additionally, the tour of the cave and Cenote at Duos Ojos was most enjoyable as well as the open cenote after that. Lunch in Playa del Carmen at a local Mexican restaurant was most satisfying. In general, it was a most memorable day and Johnny was a perfect gentleman, very knowledgeable of Mexican history and archaeology, and a great conversationalist. I would highly recommend him to anybody wanting a guide to any Mexican historical site. Donald Morency
