We booked this tour online prior to arriving in Portland. Communication was very easy as I had to call Viator to ask questions. Pickup at our hotel was on time. There were 5 of us and there was also a group of three that joined us in the van. (all were vaccinated but we had a temperature check before boarding) We loved this tour and were fascinated by the history of the area as relayed to us by our tour guide, Andy. He was an excellent guide- both friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The history of the area was brought alive and we were enthralled by his telling of the stories of people and native American tribes relevant to the settling of the area. We also learned of the geology and geography of the Columbia river gorge. We highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was amazing - we spent the right amount of time at each waterfall - he volunteered to take our pictures and pointed out important things to look at that we would have missed - he didn’t rush us.
