We celebrated my wife’s birthday in Porto & thought a river sailing cruise sounded fun, but Raul and Jaime far exceeded our expectations. Raul was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The love for his city was infectious. The boat was beautiful, port tasting was fantastic and the only way Porto could be more beautiful is to see it from the water. Highly highly highly recommend.
The beautiful city of Porto is appreciated best from the water.. and Raul is THE MOST perfect choice to guide you/family/friends to a lovely day on his boat!! I was with friends, and we did a sunset cruise... this was a definite favorite part of our entire trip to Portugal. I went with girlfriends..we brought snacks and wine. Raul was the perfect combination of passion and knowledge for the city of Porto.. he is also a superb host- he prepared the cheeses and snacks we brought on a nice serving platter.. he served us plentiful amounts of Porto to taste the different kinds... Raul felt very comfortable from the beginning - makes you feel like you are family and truly wants you to enjoy your experience. His love for sailing shines through as well. Also, he has a great camera and did a full on photo shoot with amazing shots!!! I cannot thank Raul enough for providing us with a wonderful, memorable, informative and fun evening on his boat! I'm telling you-do not miss!!!! (Pictures linked are from us..not Raul's- his were a million times better!)
