Rip off!! Paid $150 each couple for their pictures they took and by time we got home they are gone from both phones. Our friends are gone too! Not a real catamaran either!

Enjoyable Experience

This was a very relaxing, enjoyable excursion after you get past all of the merchants in the parking lot all the way to the boat. They are very aggressive. Then when you get to the Island there are more merchants wanting to sell their goods. One thing to know is that in the water at the starfish beach there is only rum offered and on the catamaran. There is a lot more to drink on the Island. Nesto was a wonderful guide.

Unreliable supplier. They didn’t...

Unreliable supplier. They didn’t pick us up 2 days in a row. Catamaran tour was boring and they were stingy on the drinks. We were suppose to stop to snorkel and never did. Overall it was very unorganized. Recommend another supplier for this excursion.

What a great way to spend the day...

What a great way to spend the day! Saona Island is so beautiful. Enjoyed the boat and catamaran ride each way. There was such limited snorkeling and starfish included in this day that the advertisement is slightly misleading, but still a great day and worth the money and time on your vacation!

This was described as a 10 hour...

This was described as a 10 hour Catamaran Tour, unfortunately is was nothing like described. We were picked up at our resort at 6:50am, then rode in a van for awhile and picked up more tourists. At one point we stopped in the middle of the highway to pick up our guide who then informed us we would be changing to a larger bus for the rest of the drive. We end up at a gas station and wait around for 30 mins for the bus to arrive and then after boarding we are told its an hour and a half drive to the boat. By the time we arrived at the boat we had already spent 2.5 hours riding in vans and buses. It is at this point we are told that half of the journey to the island will be on a speed boat packed in like sardines. We board the boat and drive no more than 10 mins to the 'snorkeling' where they fed the fish to get them to come around us. Not very natural. Then we went to the natural tide pools/beach area which was awesome. We would have rather spent the entire afternoon here rather than the 15-30 mins they allowed. We boarded back onto the boat like sardines and then looked for starfish as we drove but never saw a single one. Finally we get to the island around 11:30am and there are a whole bunch of other tours there and more or less just a community dinner where they encouraged us to buy things non stop. After dinner we were able to now ride on the catamaran. Our guide wasn't even sure which catamaran we would be on! Nevertheless we eventually boarded one and had a great hour and a half sail back to the port to catch our 2 hour bus ride back. Overall VERY DISAPPOINTED! We were told a 10 hour Catamaran tour and ended up spending 4 hours in the bus and only 2 hours on the actual catamaran.

This needs more time in snorkeling...

This needs more time in snorkeling activities. I felt that this was to rushed in our tour.
