I thoroughly enjoyed this...

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Even though it was snowing the entire day and visibility was limited our guide did his best to stop at various places where visibility wasn't as important. I would highly recommend this tour and would definitely recommend wearing hiking or snow boots depending on the conditions as many of the stops involve some walking and if there is snow on the ground you will want your feet to stay dry. I would also recommend wearing waterproof layers.

Wonderful tour but would be better as a smaller group

The guide and the sites visited were both great. The only suggestion I would have is making this a smaller group tour during the limited daylight hours during the winter; with 40+ people, stragglers slowed down the tour making it difficult to make all of the scheduled stops which enough light to enjoy those at the end of the day.

So much to see and so beautiful
Susan_B
, Nov 2021
There was so much to see. The trip is simply amazing. Each site was breath taking. Our guide, Mr. Howser, was not only very knowledgeable about the sites, but told us stories from the Icelandic sagas about each one really bringing it to life. I'm traveling with my 16 year old son and he was engaged the whole trip. The lunch stop was delicious food. Definitely worth the time.

If you are dependable on nature views - you should take this opportunity and try this tour. Such amazing views, nice waterfall (we saw at least five) and a famous mountain. Nice driver kept informing us about surrounding. Iceland you are the best!

Excellent trip and guide was fantastic!

What made this trip so good with the guide (I think he said his name was 'Omar' but I'm not sure about that). I really felt like he went out of his way to make the day really special for the tour group. He picked some berries for us, helped us drink fresh water from a waterfall and we went on a side excursion and found a place where seals come close to land (and we saw them!). He was great, the day was excellent, thank you!

I don't remember the name...

I don't remember the name of our guide, but he called himself Iceman, he is really nice, a good storyteller (I loved his stories!) as the day was sunny and we had time he took us to an extra fall. Maybe I would have liked to really learn the names of the places.
