Would definitely do again!

We loved this all day tour. We got to stop to see so many picture worthy moments and even though it was a little rainy all day Willie made sure to let us know when it was definitely worth it to embrace the weather for some beautiful sights.

Amazing views at Snaefellsnes Peninsula!

9/2/2021 - Our guide and driver was Houser. He is a fantastic weaver of tales from the past! Although the day was a mix of rain and clouds, Houser was fully entertaining with his stories of Icelandic people while driving us to all the choice spots on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The most memorable was Arrowhead mountain (site of GOT), waterfalls, black sand beaches, rock/lava formations on the coastline and eating fresh Icelandic fish at the Sker Restaurant.

I highly recommend this tour! The views are amazing and completely worth seeing. However, the best part of it was our guide, Hauser. Although we got really bad weather (be prepared for strong winds and rain!), he made the tour completely worthwhile. I was soaking wet and cold during the whole time (did not come prepared) but he made me forget about it with such a great personality, great storytelling skills, nice Icelandic insights and great humour! 11/10, honestly.

Excellent full day tour tour to beautiful Snaefellsnes

Very well organized 12 hour tour, that took us to the beautiful Snaefellsnes-peninsula. The bus was brand new and comfortable and our guide, Hauser, was truly excellent and provided us with numerous insights into Icelandic history and lore. He is a true storyteller! The lunch in Olafsvik exceeded my expectations. One of the best cods I’ve ever had. There were also two short coffee breaks on the drive to and from the peninsula. The sights on the peninsula are very impressive with cliffs, volcanos and glaciers. The only drawback was the bad weather on the day of our tour - bring your raincoat! - but that’s Iceland.🙂 Recommended.

This is a beautiful part...

This is a beautiful part of Iceland and well worth visiting, but it is impossible for me to give this tour a positive review. Our driver and guide were not professional at all- in addition to our guide taking a number of personal phone calls throughout the trip, neither wore a mask, there was no announcement made about mask wearing on our bus, and no COVID-related precautions were taken at any point. Given the rising cases in Iceland, I think this was really irresponsible and was a complete departure from all the other tours I took during my Iceland vacation.

Snaefellsnes Peninsula - Picturesque tour with very informative guide!

This was an excellent tour with a very informative guide! Right from the start, our guide gave us a very detailed history of the city, the different sea life and animals we might encounter, and a history of the area. The entire tour include so much information, which made this tour even more special. Each stop was perfect for taking photos - from the lake overview to the fishing village to waterfalls. We even stopped for lunch at restaurant famous for fresh cod. My favorite moment was taking a photo atop a rock arch along the coast, as well as stopping to see live seals and a beached whale. This was an excellent tour in a special area of northern Iceland, with many stops along the way. Despite the tour hour ride out and back, there were many stops along the way, including restroom and coffee breaks. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Iceland.

Beautiful day

Great day touring part of the island with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. By choosing to grab sandwiches for lunch (instead of sitting down at a restaurant), we were able to see more of the peninsula.

Snaefellsnes with Siggi

The trip was amazing, and our tour guide, Siggi, was energetic and entertaining. In addition to the main attractions we have visited a couple of places out of schedule, including a wonderful Sheppards waterfall.

Meh tour stops, amazing routes, great tour guide.

We did The South Coast tour before this so (just my opinion), this peninsula was a little less impressive than the south coast. But our tour guide Siggi might it all worth it! Just a great dude. When we asks the group if they’d like a buffet, say yes! Our group said no (sad) but I heard from a buddy who took the same tour that the buffet was bomb.
