I had forgotten to order tickets until a few days before our arrival in Rome, so the tickets from the museum’s website were sold out and I reluctantly bought tickets through the tour operator on Viator. It is an unscrupulous operation. The tickets from the museum would have been €26 (for 2 adults and 3 children). Viator’s vendor charged $130 — more than 4x markup. Borghese Gallery is fine, but the experience of being ripped off really colored the experience.

Wer liest um Mitternacht mails??? Die Tickets waren fürs11 Uhr am Morgen Schrecklich. Wir hatten bereits das taxi bestellt und bezahlt.
