Easier way to visit the lake district in one day

We were 6 person in the group booked a 8 person group van as there is no option available for 6. Patrick is a enthusiastic and cheerful guide cum driver who guided us to the best view points. First we visited Lake Fuschl see. This is the most beautiful lake we saw that day. The last stop was Hallstatt. This is the most popular lake. We roamed there for 3 hours before returning back to the Salzburg. One day is definitely not enough to see the lakes but if you have short stay and don't want to miss the lake district, this is the perfect plan.

Wow what a great day this was! Manfred our tour guide was terrific he knew all the great spots to stop for pictures on our way to Hallstatt and then gave us great tips for sightseeing in Hallstatt which helped us avoid the crowds and not feel too rushed. Also when he heard our tour with another company to The Eagles Nest was cancelled for the next day he rearranged his schedule to take us on a tour of The Rossfeld scenic road in Bavaria with awesome views of the Alps and The Eagles Nest. And if that wasn't enough he made arrangements for lunch in Berchtesgaden at a rooftop restaurant with beautiful views of the Alps and town. These two days with Manfred were the highlight of our vacation! Greg

Manfred was amazing! The lake District and Halstatt are not to be missed! Manfred was so great at suggesting things to see, but at the same time was always asking us what we wanted to see. He even made our lunch reservation for us after asking us if we had lunch plans. He took us to some off-the-beaten path places that were some of the most beautiful I've ever seen! Amazing day with an amazing guide. I highly suggest this tour.

Richard did a wonderful job. Even though it rained most of the time, he escorted us around with an umbrella so we could get some good pictures. He also picked out a great, out of the way, restaurant for lunch. He worked hard at finding an excellent spot for me to take a picture of Hallstatt. It was definitely a pleasurable day and a fantastic tour.
