Fantastic experience! Would highly recommend

This trip thoroughly exceeded my expectations. Our small group hit all the key stops in Yosemite and had an amazing time among redwoods, gorgeous mountain views, and waterfalls. Our tour guide Jill was exceptional. She just radiated positive energy and was incredibly friendly and helpful along the way. Thank you Jill for making this trip so memorable!

This trip was everything I could have hoped for and more!

Reasons I loved it: - Perfect for all fitness/ability levels I was a bit worried we'd just be speeding around taking quick pictures at key sights, but that wasn't the case! We had plenty of time for pictures, but also for hikes (if you chose), and solo wandering through the valley - it never felt like we were rushing. The hikes were between 2 - 4 hours long. They're completely optional but I highly recommend doing them if you're able as the views were so beautiful! If you're not able to hike, you can have free time to take in the sights or visit the museums. - Mixed ages and multinational group * The group size is limited to 16 so you get chatting to everyone and can eat meals together, if you choose. Our groups had couples, a mother and daughter, as well as solo travellers from all over the world! - Awesome guide Our guide Jill was fantastic. She was super knowledgeable about the area and really worked to make sure everyone got exactly the experience they wanted, whether that was long hikes, gentle trails, or slow-paced sight seeing. She was always sunny and approachable and made the group feel like a little family from the get go! She also played great chill road trip music in the van. - Comfortable accommodation My tip would be that there's not much difference between the Cedar Lodge and the more expensive Yosemite Lode. The latter is located in the valley so you can walk to breakfast, but Cedar Lodge is in a really beautiful location too and the tour guide takes you to breakfast in the bus so it's very easy! I suggest you save your money and spend it on snacks instead!

In Yosemite there is really something for everyone, hikes, bikes (seasonal), swimming (seasonal) walks, etc. We are glad you enjoyed your time with Jill, she is a wonderful asset to company!

Beautiful park but not really a guided tour

It was very hard to rate this tour. First, apparently our driver was called at the last moment to fill in for someone who was not available. She knew the route, but there was some problem with the scheduled pick-up at our hotel in San Francisco. The van was too small for our group, 16 people, every seat taken. We would have done better with a larger vehicle. Although she had a great attitude about how much fun we were going to have, and was a very good driver, it soon became clear that she could not explain to us in an easy way what our trip was going to be like. She would have done well to give us a print-out with the schedule and locations and times of pick-up. A handout explaining John Muir and perhaps more history about the park (or even other parks, or the times of the Civil War, when this park was founded) would have been very useful, even for her. To her credit someone threw up on our way there, and she took care of cleaning it up quite neatly. 2 of us also got lost on the way back for a 3 pm pick-up, and she patiently located them and picked them up. Some of us complained because she wanted to set a 2 pm pick-up, which cut short our day, so she pushed it to 3. She was very friendly and sweet, but would have been a better bar attendant-waitress than a tour guide. Others in our group expected an actual guide for a hike, but this tour does not offer it, everything is self-guided, and, at least on our tour, reading the signs along the way was necessary. We also got maps that were a little confusing, and the best bet was to ask local persons about where to go (we saw climbers on El Capitan, but the locals told us about it. Also, there is a rainbow!! at Bridal Veil falls at about 4 pm, or when the light hits it right. We just got lucky when we were there to see it).The hotels are comfortable, but not really more than (slightly) upgraded motels, and nothing special about the food. Get a burger and beer at restaurants, and double up at breakfast. in summary, this "tour" would have been much better had we had better instructions, a little history of the area and founding of the park (persons in the back of the van could not hear our driver very well, so this will need a microphone), and maybe some accurate information about John Muir and maybe some of the need for funding of the park/status of the Sequoias and Redwoods). Everything was self-guided, so be prepared to quickly educate yourself about what/how/why while on your way.

Overall a fantastic experience! We had Daniel as our guide and he was honestly brilliant. He had been to Yosemite a fair few times and knew all the good spots. Despite having been here before, he was always excited about sights and made it a really fun and special trip. Thanks again Daniel!

The scenery in the park is absolutely breathtaking. The mountains...Il Kspitan were not disappointing. Some of the hikes are a little strenuous but doable. We booked through Incredible Adventures and the tour guide Daniel was professional yet companiable and kept us entertained. We stayed in the Cedar Lodge motel outside the park. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I highly recommend this tour and only wish there was a 3 day option.

This trip is definitely worth it. Yosemite is stunning and the itinerary allowed two full days of sightseeing and hiking. We were given plenty of information on options for hikes within the Valley. Our guide Matt was knowledgeable, pleasant and a safe, smooth driver. An added bonus was the playlist in the van (it wasn't too loud though). Passengers with hearing problems or difficulty understanding English would be better sitting near the front as there's no microphone for the commentary. Take plenty of water if it's hot as some of the stops of day 1 have no running water
Magical tour

I had an amazing magical tour to Yosemite national park with an incredible tour guide. Jill was so amazing from the start through out the tour. So helpful. Hiking was the best. Cedar lodge was not bad only that we had no wifi and network is so terrible
