California’s famous wine country is not to be missed when you’re in San Francisco, and this semi-private small-group day trip makes it easy to experience. After hotel pickup in the morning, head north of the city to visit boutique wineries in Napa Valley and Sonoma County that aren’t usually part of larger tour itineraries. If you have any special requests for wineries, please note them at the time of booking, and your guide may work them in, if possible.
During your day trip, meet local winemakers and sample varietals from different winemaking regions. Wine tasting fees are only included at the first two stops, giving you the flexibility to purchase what suits you, whether a flight of samples, glass, or even a whole bottle at the rest of the wineries. Hear fascinating commentary from your guide about the industry, and enjoy a Champagne toast at the Golden Gate Bridge on the way back.
After a full day of wine tasting, you are dropped off at your hotel once we return back to San Francisco.
