With this admission ticket to the San Francisco Zoo, the way you spend your time is up to you. The zoo is open daily, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the grounds at your own pace.

There are more than 20 exhibits at the zoo with more than 1,000 animals to see, so you’ve got your work cut out for you. Start by stopping by the Koala Crossing Exhibit where five furry friends hang out, and point them out while they sit up high in the eucalyptus trees they like to eat off of.

Check out the meerkats and prairie dogs, and learn how two animals from two different continents can have so much in common. Don’t miss out on seeing Bear Country or Eagle Island, and the Insect Zoo is also a good place to visit if you’re into creepy-crawly creatures.

If you need some time away from all the animals, you can walk the gardens, hit the playground, or even hop on a train (own expense). Whatever you spend your time doing, you’ll walk away knowing much more about animals than you did before.

We still have to get in line to get physical tickets. It’s pointless buying from you. Fix it. Make it painless.

Personal Space NOT ALLOWED
Luciana
, Jul 2021
The zoo itself was amazing however the people had no sense of allowing personal SPACE...the park provides each family in the midst of a pandemic a CIRCLE written on the ground to allow 6 feet of space between guest. Guest don’t pay attention to this and hog up the views and invade my space!!!! Other than that

It’s a beautiful zoo. Some of the big attractions were closed. Lots of space and trails were well marked. Lots of rest rooms and places to eat

It had been many years since I last visited the zoo. I enjoyed the whole experience but was disappointed that the Elephant House didn’t have any elephants.

Check in and redemption was super easy. Parking instructions weren’t great. Parking was available on the street which helped. However it says paid parking is only online booking but then you get there and you can just pay at the booth.

A bit disappointed for the price we paid (including parking and train for four)

We felt we spent much of our time walking around trying to find something to see as many of the exhibit, carousel, animals, petting zoo, were closed or out for medical reasons.
