Being able to visually experience urban slavery was very educational, as most historical images are of plantation slavery. The museum adapted extremely well to the limitations placed on them due to the COVID pandemic .

This was a great tour! My family and I had a great time and learned a lot. Probably one of the best tours in the Savannah area. The house is well kept and displayed many historical moments. Even my 2 and 6 year old kids showed interest. Bottom line, this tour is a must visit if you come to the Savannah area!

First time in Savannah, explored the 3 Telfair museums

We bought the three-museum ticket, showed up at 11:45 and were able to join the 12 noon guided tour. The reception area has a small self-guided exhibit describing the history of the house, its inhabitants, and the city, which we explored while waiting for our tour. I would recommend allowing yourself time to explore this exhibit before or after the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging.
