Perfect Day, Perfect Tour

Mark was an engaging and fun tour guide. He shared a lot of knowledge of the city and we even played trivia! We had a great group of people (BALA) and we all bonded quickly. The wineries were very nice and the falls breathtaking.

The Waterfall! Just spectacular! The rock is millions of years old! We got to enjoy the scenery and see the beautiful mountains. I would definitely do this again next year!

Tour guide was amazing. Wine tasting should be done in the afternoon, instead of morning. Lunch would be nicer if a more extended menu were provided.

Usually due to the group size on any given day in order to not overwhelm the smaller kitchens we do have to work off of limited menus'. Thank you so much for your feedback regarding the possibilities of visiting the wineries later in the day and expanding the menu a bit. These are options we will continue to look at and explore.

Falls were great!
Anjum_K
, Jul 2021
Don was great as a tour guide but the indication that this tour is a winery tour is currently misleading . The 2 “wineries” visited were in a strip mall, not the experience we were expecting. Service and the falls were great!
icon Response from Host , Jul 2021
Thank you for your positive review of our guide Don. I am so sorry that you were expecting something a little different. Prior to Covid, guests were able to tour the actual winery operations as well but that is not permitted currently. We have also changed the tour description to reflect the current restrictions and hope it is more clear to guests. Once again I do apologize and I am glad you enjoyed the service and the Falls.

Not worth it
Sara
, Jul 2021
The tour lists that is goes to Chateau Ste. Michelle, but we only drove around the parking lot then went to two wine taskings in a strip mall (that you also pay for). I don’t think it was worth the cost and would not do again.
icon Response from Host , Jul 2021
Hi Sara- I am sorry you were expecting to go to the Chateau for your tour. I believe we had removed all the listings that named the Chateau specifically because covid regulations have tied our hands when it comes to group tour availability. I know that previous reviews from customers do still name the Chateau but we cannot change that. Hopefully when this pandemic is taken care of we can return there again. Again I do apologize for the disappointment.

Enjoyable Day!

The excellent rating is for Mark- our tour guide. He was gracious, caring and had an excellent sense of humor! The first winery tour was just ok. The value for your tasting fee was not good. The second winery, Maryhill, was amazing!! The food at the bistro was a great deal the wine was superb. And the customer service was great!! Loved the little tour of the country side and the falls were beautiful. Would have been happy with just going to the winery. Really enjoyed!!

I really appreciate your feedback. If you are able to please give us a call regarding your experience at the first winery as I would like to pass this information on to their management team. I am glad you enjoyed the rest of the tour and Mark made it worth it! I have heard amazing things about the Bistro at MaryHill. I think I am going to have to just make a drive there to try it.

Such a great day outside the city- perfect if you don’t have a car. Both wine tasting stops were delicious, clean and welcoming. The falls are simply stunning! And Mark is an amazing guide who would never leave an old lady on the curb and force her to catch an Uber!

Thank you for an awesome review of a day spent with Mark on our Winery and Waterfall Tour. I am sensing there's a bit of a inside joke between you and Mark too. Sounds like it was a fun day.
