Gin & Tonic Pairing Masterclass

It was a great experience. The staff was nice and prepared. I strongly recommend this masterclass for beginners.

Anthony gave a great history lesson n the history of gin (genever) & tonic! So. Much fun in a speakeasy bar! Highly recommend as a fun relaxing evening. Loved the tasting of different gin plus styles —Tom cat looking at you!

This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it for people who like gin, are curious about gin, or just want to learn something in a cool and relaxed setting in Singapore.

We shared a very interesting & informative class learning about Gin etc. Our host was very good at explaining the origins of gin and was very knowledgeable on the distilling process etc. Very enjoyable evening.

We had such a great time at The Spiffy Dapper! Our bartender (Shirleen? Sorry!), was lovely. We are gin and tonic fans, obviously! We tried five or six different tonics, three kinds of gin, and three or four garnishes. The staff was very happy to answer questions and add commentary when asked. The food was great...the delicious fries and cheese sauce and mac and cheese! If we lived in Singapore, we'd become regulars!

This was one of the more quirky things we did on our Singapore adventures - and it was great! 2 hours just flew by as we were tasted our way through 5 different styles of Gin paired with 5 different styles of tonics (yes, there was a lot of alcohol involved!) We then selected what pairing(s) we liked best and a full cocktail was made, which were we able to embellish ourselves with botanicals. In between the tastings we were taught about the history of Gin and Tonics and the distillation process. Highly recommended! Being that the Spiffy Dapper is a speakeasy bar it's not the easiest place to find. Located at 73A Amoy Street, walk up the dark staircase and push through the big wooden doors at the top right.
