Singapore Private Arrival Transfer: Airport to Hotel

Driver was waiting for us so it saves the hassle of getting a taxi. We had a nice van to ourselves as the normal car was not available. It’s crazy at the airport so booking a car suited us. Driver was on time helped with luggage and was pleasant. From memory there was not water on board so maybe grab a quick drink as Singapore can be stifling at times.

Excellent service. The driver was ready and waiting for us just as expected. It was a stress free transition from airport to hotel.

Our flight was nearly an hour early and we quickly cleared customs, so I was very pleasantly surprised to see our driver there waiting for us. He took my wife’s luggage and we were at the pickup in minutes. He went and brought back the car, took only a few minutes and then loaded all the luggage for us. The car was very clean, inside and out, and the air conditioning worked very well. The driver was pleasantly chatty and the early morning journey very smooth.

Driver was late at the airport, however he had apologized and took us directly to our hotel. He was very friendly and gave us a few tips on things to do inn Singapore.

It is great to have someone meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. We inadvertently left a piece of luggage inside the baggage pick-up area and when we alerted a staff member of the security service, they retrieved our bag with a minimum of fuss and our driver waited patiently for us to approach him for the lift to our hotel. He said that it was no trouble at all.

The driver was late which left me wondering if I had the instructions wrong. Due to building works at the airport going on at the moment there is now quite a walk and a shuttle transfer between terminals! However he was a smooth driver and he got me to the hotel efficiently. He was a friendly driver as well.

Excellent service our driver was waiting for us when we got out of customs and even showed us where to get a SIM card for my phone. Also gave us some information on Singapore on our drive to hotel. Wonderful experience.

When you book a private arrival transfer you expect your operator to be waiting for you at the arrivals area as described by the paperwork. They werent! We had to go to the information desk and phone them to find out what had happened and it took them quite a while to recognise our booking reference. They said they would call their representative and then a minute later they appeared - dont know where she had been, but she seemed very harassed and said she had rushed. But then we had to wait for our driver to arrive who led us to a car park waiting area and then went for the van. The rest of the transfer went like clockwork but we thought it was really poor service not to be there when we arrived - the plane was on time, we were quick through passport control but then slow getting the luggage, but this should not have impacted on them not being there to greet us.
