A Day trip to rember

It’s got to be the boat trip around the island at the end of the day !!!!! You had to be there, not what we expected, just amazing. Have a great tour with Maria, glad we opted for the extra tour on the Island. Transport provide from outside our hotel, You have to do this personal experience, great value for money.

A nice enough day and certainly the transfers made getting up the island easier however we were poorly advised to use a restaurant that was cheap but fast with less than average food because our guide obviously used it and maybe had some kind of deal going there. The guide that had the other travellers on our boat also went round with a bag for tips so there was a huge pressure to put a sizeable tip in the bag which felt uncomfortable. I have tipped everybody on my travels to Italy but this was the only occasion it was actually asked for and expected.

The guides - especially ours, Maria - were great at making the most of our one-day visit. We avoided the crowds, got to see the sights (even managed to go into the blue grotto!!), and got some interesting information on the way. The trip around the island was also memorable with Giovanni’s singing :-)

Its was great tour and guide Maria was very nice friendly and explained all the highlights. I will recommend this tour if someone wants to travel south Italy 🇮🇹. Nlur grotto can't visit coz of high tide.

Good, but misleading with hidden costs

This tour is good, but it is misleading. There is no tour of the grottos - this is additional and not possible to do in the timeframes provided due to queues if you want to do it yourself. Also, Capri is crazy to get around and they do not bring you around as part of the tour unless you pay €22 per person extra.

The only thing this tour provided was a boat ride from sorrento to the island. Then they offered other rides on the island for 22 Euros more per person. It was very disappointing. The beach area has big rocks...not a nice beach. We had 5 hours to kill. VERY SAD !!

Organisation was very well done, we received an hour and location in front of our hotel one day in advance. We had a lovely day discovering Capri and Anacapri. The lift ride up to monte solaro and boat tour around the island were highlights. This tour manages to give you as much of glimpse of capri and anacapri as possible in a days’ time and to show you the best views. I recommend to stay with the group and take the minibus service as it really seemed like a pain waiting in long lines for multiple public busses to get around the island yourself (we went in the high season however). If you really want to venture further away from capri and anacapri on the island I would recommend arranging a trip yourself by buying a boat ticket as that is not what the trip is designed to do. The guide of our group was Maria, she gave us lots of information, made sure we spent our time as efficient as possible by pointing out the best things to do and tried to make sure everyone was having a good time. She also gave us a sticker with our name at the start of the day to ensure everyone had her number and ensured we knew where our bus was when we came back from Capri and there was a traffic jam. We were sad to see not many people tip her as she clearly put a lot of effort and passion into what she does. Our driver navigated us perfectly between Sorrento and Nerano.

Day visit from sorrento to Capri incl. island boat tour. Collected promptly at hotel. Stunning island, visited port, capri & ana capri. The views from the gardens of Agustus were breathtaking. Our guide, Maria, was really helpful and conducted the tour in multiple languages in a warm and friendly manner. We would highly recommend.
