Lovely farm experience, absolutely recommend! Thank you :)
, Aug 2020
Absolutely loved this experience! We were picked up and brought back by a driver from Sorrento. The farm was beautiful and the guide gave us a thorough tour of the farm. We were able to see the lemon trees, olive trees etc etc, as well as the animals (goats, piglets). It was lovely to then taste the home made lunch, all made at the farm by the mother of the tour guide. We could taste the honey, wine, limoncello and of course olive oil, as well as the absolutely delicious home made ravioli. I would really recommend and for the price it was incredible value too. Thank you for such a lovely morning at La Masseria farm!
Fantastic Day at the Farm

What an amazing tour! We were a little worried booking this in a COVID time, but it was extremely safe and fun! The lemon groves were beautiful and we learned so much. The family is just so kind and make you feel like family. The food was delicious, and we even bought some things to bring home with us. I highly recommend this tour- you won’t want to miss it!

This tour with Eugenio and his family was so informative and interesting. It included not only walking through lemon orchards and olive groves, but also learning how local farmers get from tiny seedlings to the amazing products for which Sorrento and the area have become so famous - limoncello, olive oils and wine. Hands on learning in a family atmosphere, lots of good humor and good “spirits” along with meeting all the farm animals along the winding paths are just a few highlights. To Eugenio, his mom Maria, his brother and Dad, we were so honored to spend time in your home. Molte grazie!

We had a wonderful half day visiting the farm. We wanted to see a typical Italian farm in the area and it certainly exceeded our expectations.

Much attention to detail was given to the guest for our comfort to make this a very special learning experience for us. We were treated with genuine, warm, Italian hospitality by the family. A full 3 course dinner was prepared by the mother of the home. We were given a sample of wine and cheese for every course of the meal. Presentation was very informative and dinner was as if we were invited to a Thanksgiving feast with family. The farm setting was beautiful. It was located high up in the hills overlooking Sorrento and the coastline. I felt the family took pride in their was their life and dream!

A Farm to Fork Tour to Remember
, Oct 2019
This was the last tour my two other friends and I signed up for in this Amalfi Coast first time visit and the La Masseria Farm Experience is indeed the perfect tour to wrap up a trip that has been nothing but extraordinarily memorable for all the good reasons.. From the moment Raffaelo (the younger son) picked us from our hotel to the warm, tight goodbye hugs from the mother and father, and in between of course, the tour de résistance provided by Eugenio (the elder son), this tour has been pure, unadulterated delight! This family-run farm has been sustained admirably by four generations with organic farm techniques and the most minimal use of machinery (the heavy lifting is done mostly by this four-member family themselves) and consistently manage to produce such high quality olive oil, excellent orange and lemon marmalades, delicious red wine, and unforgettable limoncello. Eugenio provided a wonderfully solid and interesting and some unique farming information infused with his obvious gift of showmanship— what seems to be an effortless ability to engage the visitors in a most natural delightful way. Then there was the dinner prepared by the mother with the able assistance of Raffaelo, which was definitely molto delizioso: from the antipasti to the limoncello-drizzled dolce. Throughout the meal naturally, there was the house red wine and predictably, limoncello to top it off. For my two friends and I, however, the crown jewel, as it were, of this tour was being the recipients of the lovely hospitality of this family who literally welcomes visitors to sit at their table and shares with them not only the delicious products of a farm they till with their hands but the genuine warmth of their home, I even sensed a palpable gratefulness—especially from the mother—that we came to visit their farm and partake of their food....almost as if it was her privilege to have us in the bosom of their home. I found that unbearably sweet and moving! I have never felt that way about any tours I have taken and I have taken many. Every visitor to Sorrento MUST take the time to bask in this incomparable farm to fork experience. It is not one to be missed and certainly not one to ever be forgotten.

My wife and I loved this tour-being one of the high-lights of our Amalfi coast vacation. This was a true family run farm, with all members of the family participating. Son Eugenio picked us up at our hotel and then gave the tour. He was so interesting, adding a great sense of humor! We learned so much about the farming/harvesting/use of lemons and olives. Also, sustainable farming. Tour was followed by lemon and olive oil tastings, and then a delicious “Italian” lunch of farm grown ingredients, prepared by “Mama”-including pasta, dessert and Limonchello. Can’t forget the farm produced Red wine also! We highly recommend this tour, and thank our hosts for sharing their farm and inviting us into their home. Debby and John Banks

This tour was fabulous. The entire family was welcoming and made you enjoy every minute you were there. The father took our 3 year old grandson on a personal tour through the lemon trees and let him pick his own lemon. If you are thinking about doing this tour Ijust book it. It is worth every penny.
Fun tour with a delicious meal!

This tour was one of my favorite things on this trip! Eugenio was a great host, explaining the processes of his family's farm and answering all kinds of questions from our group. The farm is beautiful, especially if you love lemons! At the end, there is a delicious meal prepared by Eugenio's lovely mamma (who won me over when she complimented my lemon dress). We got to taste (and purchase) the farm's olive oil, honey, lemons, limoncello, and marmalades. We also drank the family's wine, though it's not for sale. It was wonderful though! I highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed!
