Find your way to Honeymoon Beach on Caneel Bay to meet your nature guide for a short orientation and safety briefing. Get fitted for equipment, including a kayak and paddle, snorkel gear and lifejacket before taking to the waters. The tour is tailored to the skill level and preferences of your group.

Paddle your kayak around the turquoise waters of the Virgin Islands National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the area's spectacular coral reef, home to a rich array of marine life.

Pull the kayaks up on a white sand beach and begin your hike under the shade of coconut palms and sea grape trees. Walk through Turtle Point's tropical forests and listen as your nature guide points out specimens of the 800+ species of plants along the way. Reach rocky outcrops that give spectacular views of the Durloe Cays and Hawksnest Bay. Look for local fauna like white-tailed deer, mongoose, and wild donkeys.

Don your snorkel gear and explore the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve that is home to many species of coral, as well as sea turtles and stingrays.

Great Adventures on St. John's Island

Brian was an incredible guide! The hike, kayaking, snorkeling and lunch at Honeymoon beach were such fun activities! Brian pointed out some interesting plants along the hike, helped guide us during a fun kayak adventure and brought us to some excellent spots for snorkeling! I would highly recommend this tour and Brian as your guide!

Awesome Hiking, kayaking & Snorkeling

Had an awesome excursion with Brian , from Eco Tours. Brian was very knowledgeable about the history of Dt. John snd plants along the. 1.5 mile hike. He took pictures of our family at a scenic spot overlooking Cruz Bay. He was happy to help and instruct when we got in our kayaks and also snorkeling. He had a waterproof pouch he took on the kayak to put our electronics in so we could take awesome, memorable pictures. Honeymoon Beach in Caneel Bay is gorgeous! The white sand and turquoise water are breathtaking. Brian found many turtles for us to see while snorkeling and even a sting Ray! Awesome trip! Our 3 adult kids, my hubby snd I loved the 2pm excursion! Definitely would recommend! We took the ferry from St. Thomas, shopped a little before excursion and had dinner after at Banana Deck for fish and great ribeye steaks! Great mixed drinks also! Great day on St. John! Made lots of memories! Another option would be to take 10 am excursion and stay the rest of day in Honeymoon beach.

The hike and kayaking were great, but snorkeling gear needs improvements

The tour itself was nice. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. The hike was great, we saw a lot of interesting plants, and the guide told us more about them. Kayaking was fun too, and the beach where we snorkeled absolutely beautiful. The equipment however was disappointing. Snorkeling gear really sucked. The mask that I took was leaking, and the one my fiance had was constantly fogging up and felt uncomfortable. The kayak had some metal sticking out of it

We absolutely loved this experience, you got to see quite a bit of the island and do several activities. We did the afternoon tour but would recommend the morning tour because you get to use the beach and gear for the rest of the day. Be prepared for a workout but definitely worth it! We got to see sea turtles, giant rays and even a nurse shark in addition to all the colorful coral and fish.
