Make your own way to Kings Street Wharf to board the spacious motorized cruiser for your 1-hour VIVID Sydney cruise.

Take your choice of indoor or outdoor seating, and enjoy a glass of wine, beer, sparkling water or soda as you set out on the harbor (beverages are available for purchase at the full bar). Your vessel heads for prime spots to see the colorful light displays that are at the heart of the VIVID festival.

VIVID Sydney started in 2009 and has become the largest event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Iconic structures light up with colorful projections, with the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Customs House and National Maritime Museum among the most famous Sydney landmarks that are part of VIVID.

When your boat returns to Darling Harbour, you can step off the boat and stroll into one of VIVID’s most colorful districts. Make your own way to your next destination from Darling Harbour.

If you want to see more lights, walk along the waterfront or stop into one of the numerous cafes and restaurants for great views of the festival’s video projections, lasers and fireworks. You can head towards Observatory Park and Circular Quay to catch more color-drenched outdoor sculptures made by artists from all over the world.

Even though the weather was terrible the cruise was the perfect way to see the lights of vivid. The tour was well organised, we left on time and spent a decent amount of time on the harbour to see everything from all sides.

Our first time seeing the VIVID lights and I would highly recommend it. It was an outstanding view - not overly crowded. We took the last cruise of the night and had half price house wine and beer. Breathtakingly lovely.

Excellent Harbor Cruise

We are visiting Australia as a family. The harbor cruise with the Vivid light show is a great way to highlight the attractions located around the harbor. Views of the opera house and bridge were amazing. Not sure how they managed to achieve an arc of light across the bay, but it lent to a very awesome experience. Truly well worth the money.

Light spectacular

Saw the lights from Bennalong Restaurant, the bridge and from the cruise boat. All offer great and varied views of the hours long show. The organisers cleverly marshall pedestrians around the ferry terminal so it does not appear as crowded as it really is.p

Not as good as I expected. Thought we would see more of the vivid lights. A bit disappointing. I thinnk i should investigate the other harbour cruises. One offered a cruise around the islands of the harbour. Wish I had chosen that one.

We missed the cruise. We thought it left from Circular Quay, but it left from Darling Harbor. It was a big disappointment. By the time we realiized we were in the wrong place, it was too late to get over to Darling Harbor. I wish it had been more clear on the itinerary.

What a spectacular event and a marvellous way to see it on-board the very reputable cruise. Purchase and ticketing were easy, all details to find the pick up and drop off wharf were clear. Fantastic experience even in the wet rainy evening and exactly what I was hoping for. I took my mother as previous attempts at walking around Vivid were a bit too much for her. The cruise was ideal, we saw everything except obviously Customs House and the interactive installations. I wouldn't hesitate doing this again next year with mum.

I was a little disappointed. The boat was too crowed, it was late, we waited too long in the queue with my elderly parents and son. And I don't know way you would post Child rates and Adult rates but you still took Adult rate for my son! so next year we will not be cruising with you . Good luck. Susan Polat.
