Worst tour ever

After waiting over an hour this morning we got aboard the bus, we got to the CN Towerat 11.15 and decided to get off even though we were not due to go up until 1300 as there was no way we would have made it back around in time so we decided to go into the aquarium first, we came out and went on our trip up the tower. We came out of the tower at 14.50 went to the bus stop where the girl told us that we had just missed a bus the next one was due in 10mins so we waited and waited, an hour and a half later the bus arrived we then spent the next hour and fifteen minutes listening to a stud by extolling the virtues of the pride movement and telling us a little about the city as we passed by. Overall this is by far the worst city tour I have been on and I have been on a few.

This was the best decision I’ve made due to only having time to spend one day in Toronto. I was with family and we saw the sights! We learned a lot we had a great tour operator whose name was Oliver. Please give him kudos because he works really hard and answered all of our questions! We really appreciate it. And also the bus driver who can get through this tiniest spots during construction. Here are some of our photos these are real photos I love the fact that we could stop get off and get back on whenever we wanted it gave us a lot of freedom to do so. Chinatown was awesome and we had the greatest dumplings and sushi. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend the bus tour ‘nn

I always find a city bus tour in most cities on day one a good intro to the city. Helps me to gain a good feel for the layout and the level of traffic, and a can be used as an alternative to public transport on that first day to hop on and off at various locations. Liked that the tour info was from real life people as opposed to a recording. The boat trip was a nice added extra.

Tour was good with the exception of two stops having to wait for a bus to pick after a hour and half instead of the 45 minutes we were told. If you do this tour plan for just 1 maybe 2 stops to see that particular sight. Wish they had more buses circulating.

I visited Toronto in mid-October. As far as the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tours go, these are the: Pros- reasonably priced; good selection of attraction stops; informative narration; a boat ride on the lake Ontario is included. Cons: Long waits (30-45 min) at each bus stop, so we were reluctant to leave the bus at every stop we wanted to visit; only 5 buses were running the route even though there were many tourists; at the Casa Loma stop, the bus was so crowded that we had to stand in the lower deck for about 1/2 hour, so we couldn't hear or see anything; then, the driver stopped to have a lunch for about 15 minutes, while we waited in the bus. The bottom line: If you can walk, you may be better off travelling on foot. It'd save you money and you'd be able to see everything you wanted. I went with elderly parents, so that wasn't an option for me.

It is very hard to find their location

I was running around harborfront to find their stop location. Their stops location page on website was not working. I didn't have data or cellular services on my phone. So I went to Lavazza and tried to find anything relevant on their site but didn't work. Eventually I saw another tour company office and I asked them who guided me where to go. After that bus was all wet and they ran out of napkins to wipe it off. Tour guide was amazing. Once these logistics issue were resolved, it was a good tour

We asked our bus tour guide if the Art Gallery of Ontario would be open the next day (Monday) as we would wait until that day to visit the gallery. We also asked if private art galleries would be open on Monday. She consulted with the other guide accompanying us on the tour and both reassured us that all the galleries would be open on Monday. None of them were open on Monday so we were unable to visit them during our time in Toronto. If we had known that all galleries were closed on Monday, we would have rearranged our sightseeing schedule in Toronto.
