Disappointed.

In terms of booking and collection, easy and all worked well. Great directions to the collection point and everything ready to go. In terms of the actual ticket, ultimately seemed very overpriced for what was offered. 1. Ineffective "queue jump" - we only found out because we specifically asked that actually we had been booked at a particular time (15 mins after collection! If we hadn't asked we would have missed it) and in fact we still had to wait half an hour for entry. When we left, that queue had disappeared. So, no choice of time and a long wait despite the name. 2. The guide book is a generic book about Venice- not useful at all for a self guided tour of a particular attraction (in our case, the Doge's Palace). 3. Overpriced. We paid over 30 euro each for this and our tickets came labelled "13 euro" and "0.00 euro" respectively. I dont feel that it was worth it to us to justify such a mark up, considering that we didn't get a useful queue jump, freedom of time to attend, or a useful self guided tour book.

Dear, I am sorry for your bad experience but I have to underline that, on the voucher there is clearly written that "you must go on the right side of the Palace and enter from the fast-track entrance". On the guidebook, there are a lot of information about the Doge Palace, we are sorry that you did not consider them enough. In the end, The over price is due to the many service that you could enjoy as a very informative guide-book and, in particolar, the skip the line ticket. We remain at your disposal for further clarification. Best regards

It was a little confusing figuring out how to get the tickets but we called and they were very responsive, even to the point of coming to meet us to ensure we had what we needed.

A DIY visit to the Doge's Palace

Sometimes listening to a tour guide tell you all about a place can be boring so we decided to explore for ourselves. There are plenty of signs/boards around with the key facts for each area and the book provided was useful. We could spend as little/much time as we liked in each area and if you decide on the day you want a headset it's an additional 5 euros. I read negative comments about picking up the tickets but we didn't have any trouble with that - you want to explore the city anyway so it wasn't a hardship. Really interesting with lots of art and photo opportunities.

Even though it looks big from the outside I never thought it would be so big. Once you enter the different prison areas you start getting the feeling of what the prisoners must have felt and you get to a point were it turns even spooky. We had a great time visiting this Palace and seeing the contrast of what was happening in the opulence upstairs and the dungeons downstairs

Great chance to look round Doge's Palace at your own pace.

Interesting look around Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Enjoyed the skip the line, it saved us a lot of time standing in a queue. We liked looking round at our own speed and not in a tour. Guidebook was very useful as it had information not only on Doge's Palace but on other attractions in Venice.

The pickup tickets were too far from the Doge Museum. It was better to fall in line to purchase tickets rather than looking where to pick up the tickets.

We went past the line and right in - this was my favorite part of Venice! Just be sure to leave time to pick up the tickets and guide book from inside the Museo Musica, since it's a few minute walk from there to Doge's Palace.

Falsche Tickets erhalten

Dear, I am sorry but we do not undestrand the point of you complaint. You've had the tickets for the Doge's palace and the museuem, without doing the lines and then you've got also the guide book. So, where is the problem? Best regards
