See how Murano glass is made

So much fun to see an exhibition of glass making on Murano and how they make lace on Burano. We enjoyed walking around Burano and looking at the colorful houses.

Save your money. Use the vaporetto instead!

Our tour guide was horrible. She did not give any information about the places we were visiting. She also left members of the group in the glass factory that we visited. You are better just using the vaporetto to go to Morano and Burano since no information is given by the tour guide.

Great Tour! Really enjoyed both islands.

This tour was really fun. We had time to do personal shopping on both islands as well as learned interesting history about each. We were so given history on different islands that we passed and information about the canal. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about the various islands in Venice.

Brilliant tour guide. Freedom to enjoy the islands at your leisure or with guidance from the guide. Small group, with speedy transport to both islands

We are a family of 5, and we had a great trip to Murano and Burrano islands. Our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, a professor and a local whose mother came from Burrano. He was also fluent in English, very helpful and witty. The group comprised of c.25 people. The glass factory tour was great, really enjoyable as was the beautiful island of Burrano, we had sufficient time on both islands and the breeze on the boat trip home was very a welcome relief as we visited in August! I'd highly recommend the trip. It should cost more in my view!

This was an amazing tour. Tour guide was so informative and also made it light hearted. The islands were out of this world and everyone was so very friendly. A little surprise of being given a glass (or 2) of Prosecco on the boat!! Just fabulous and highly recommended

We really enjoyed this trip, visiting Burano was our favourite part, the island and people were lovely. The cost of the Murano glass was also a lot cheaper than on murano itself. Francesca our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable, the glass of Prosecco on the return boat journey was also a bonus!

I read the reviews before booking. So I knew what to expect. Truth. Yes. There are too many people on a little boat. Not unsafe - but yes uncomfortable. The guide is very knowledgeable - but it’s impossible to hear him on the boat. The mission of seeing both Murano and Burano was accomplished. No regrets. No time to shop to Murano except in the shop/factory they take you to. Burano had some nice free time to enjoy looking around. You get what u pay for. And it’s perfectly… fine.

We took the 1430 tour. We arrived in front of the church and met our guide. We had a family member that uses a walker as she is 80 years old. From the second we arrived the tour guide was fantastic. She along with the captain of the boat took great care to everyone but real care to my mother. The boat was a good size and the group size was about 25 people perfect!!! We got on the boat and the guide spent the entire time telling us all about every island we were in view of. Was a great history lesson. She was energetic and fun. Our 1st island murano we arrived at a dock right at the glass makers shop. We walked in they had water and drinks waiting for us prior to going in to see the demonstration from the master glass person. They had seats inside for everyone very accommodating especially to my mother. They did their demonstration explaining everything. Was amazing!!! We saw a vase made then the creation of a horse and wow just wow!!! Once the demonstration was over we went into a big coop shop that over 20 arstist created AIR CONDITIONED😀 We walked around and bought great set of glasses. They had all different kinds of art and glassware. They also had bathrooms available to us. They gave us a reasonable amount of time to browse. We then jumped back on the boat and went to bruano. On the way our guide again told us all about the different islands we were going by. Once we were on burano we have over 1.5 hours to walk around. Those who wanted to go see how the famous Lave makers created items of lace could. Plenty of time after that to see the island. There was a few bars and restaurants right at the main square near our boat. And public bathrooms. Was great to see all the colors. This was a good tour to see what each island is famous for. It gave us an idea of what to expect while on these islands in the future. Great timing. Again if you have a person that has hard time walking or is handicapped they were very accommodating . Very kind . Loved this tour

Half day must do trip from Venice

Gabriella made it a very interesting trip even for children traveling with us. Boat was comfortable, group was small so it was easy to navigate with it. Glass factory is a must, and the showroom is like a museum- do not touch the €30000 candlelight Burano was nice to recharge our sugar supply- cookies and ice cream. We did not manage to get the kids into the lace factory, but still it was nice.
