Private Arrival Transfer: Venice Airport to Hotel with Car and Water Taxi

The transfer was efficient and easy. I would use this service again. This service is expensive but well worth the no hassle travel.

There was no water taxi to get us to our hotel though the hotel is next to a water taxi stand. We were picked up from the airport at a late hour--the flight was delayed--and driven by car to a parking lot near the hotel. We were given directions to walk across two bridges with our heavy luggage and then to follow a walkway to our hotel. Not a convenient or client-centered arrival. We carried the luggage over the two bridges (a struggle for me at my age) and then searched the dark street for the hotel. There was no sign visible at that time on the hotel so we ended up retracing some of our steps to a local bar where the owner very kindly directed us right to the hotel. We had been given poor minimal directions and left alone at a parking lot and made to carry our own luggage to a hotel on a poorly lighted street that (the hotel) that was not well marked at that hour of the night. That isn't what I paid for or what the voucher promised. Still, we got there.

The driver was waiting for us at the airport and got us promptly to the pier to meet our water taxi. He was helpful, considering he didn’t speak English. He waited with my husband and I to make sure we got on the right water taxi. Would recommend this service. Both taxi cab and water taxi were clean. The water taxi got us as close to our hotel as possible .

Excellent service! Our arrival could not have gone any smoother!!! The gentleman waited for us at baggage claim and took us straight to our awaiting water taxi.

We booked this transfer to start our holiday off in style after reading other reviews. We were picked up by a very nice driver and the taxi ride to the canal was great. We transferred to a water taxi and settled back for the journey to our hotel. After a few minutes the taxi driver pulled over to a mooring by the Rialto bridge and said he couldn't take us to the hotel due to the tides, he told us it was a 5 minute walk and gave us a map! Another reason for booking the transfer to the hotel was the fact that my husband had just come out of hospital, can you imagine pulling suitcases through extremely crowded streets and over bridges. Imagine our disappointment when on arrival at the hotel we saw one taxi after another the same size as the one that picked us up bring more fortunate guests. Viator have given us a partial refund this however does not make up for the disappointment.

Ich finde es sehr schade das man nicht vom Hotel wo ein Bootsanschluss hat abgeholt wird. Ich würde die Beschreibung anpassen , wo angegeben wird. Für diesen Preis erwarte ich das es von Hotel bis Flughafen geht. Der Transfer mit Auto und die Bootsfahrt war super.
