Meeting point was poorly described and took a lot of questioning of locals to find the departure point. Rainy poor weather. Helped to get oriented to the Grand Canel and the city.

the guide was knowledgeable and very informative, the trip was worth seeing and getting a feeling for size of the Grand Canal and the islands are and their locations. the boat ride was good and comfortable. The big issue was if you were on the inside you did not get any panoramic views and good photo shots. there were only 3 three seats on the back end and two in front with the driver and guide

The tour ran short of time stated. The guide seemed to have a hard time remembering some landmarks and kept asking the captain of the boat (who also seemed to be a close friend of hers) about what things were. The guide was friendly, but seeming a bit distracted. The boat was beautiful and I enjoyed the tour, but the guide was lacking in my opinion. Every other tour we’re booked through this company have been OUTSTANDING! This was a bit of a disappointment. She also had to make a phone call at one point during the tour, not sure if it was work related? Just seemed quite odd. Not our best tour.

A small boat, so only the first 3 aboard got to sit outside at the start. The rest of us sat inside and couldn't see a thing. When we got to the Canal the rest of us were able to stand outside, but were unable to hear the commentary. So it was a choice of seeing the buildings on the canal, or learning about them not both.

This tour was a disappointment. The guide's English was fair but she spoke very quickly and this made it extremely difficult to understand what she was saying. She seemed to be a bit robotic and lacked much personality. Did not learn much from this tour. Would not recommend.
