Fast and enjoyable but information could be better.

The one negative was the lack of information on where the taxi would arrive to collect us. The positive was that the journey in the taxi was fast and enjoyable and we were taken straight to our door.

Skip the semi private transfer…

We were a couple (just me and my GF traveling together). While the ride in was beautiful (al the credit to Venice) we waited over an hour for this transfer. No one on the platform was willing to help us. I had the printout confirmation and the email confirmation and no one cared or knew that it was . Luckily we found someone who was nice but unfortunately redirected us to one of the very unhelpful men. Finally someone pulled out their cell phone and called the number (I tried to call the number but they wouldn’t pick up). They were unsuccessful and then the man pulled out an old 2000s flip phone and connected with the company. They told us they would be there in 20 minutes. They showed up exactly 20 minutes later but the driver/captain told us to wait 5 min (which was fine, I’m sure he needed to relieve himself) but he putts around for another 15 and then he got us on and 5 other people immediately and took us in. We were his LAST stop of 5 stops. Luckily the day was gorgeous and we got to see a lot of Venice from a speedboat. I would recommend either do a fully private transfer or take a public ferry over and avoid this confusion. We lost about 90 minutes in all with this.

The tour that never happened.

We walked around for half an hour looking for and calling the tour operator and no one answered nor could we find the tour. We had to get a taxi instead. Very disappointing.

Fast delivery to our stop. Communication was difficult with driver. A bit rough with the luggage. But good trip overall. Would use again.

Good taxi. Needed more info.

The Viator Booking did not tell us where we needed to redeem our tickets, so we walked down to the dock without tickets and walked around the taxis for 15 minutes with no direction or signs to lead us. Finally we were able to speak with another taxi service that led us to the correct taxi. Another 15 minutes later, the driver finally had confirmation and we were able to board. The ride was good and he dropped us off right at our hotel. Would recommend, just need to make sure you know where to go next time.

Airport Arrival Transfer

I expected pre-booking this transportation would save headache and confusion upon arrival, but I was wrong. “Tour desk 71” was very difficult to find, and this was the only instruction given once you are beyond customs. After searching and searching, we walked to the pier area to still find nothing. With one last hope we head back to the arrivals area where we were expecting the tour desk to be, only to find a note saying to call them and meet at the pier. The tour desk is closed due to covid. After our call we head back to the pier and were told it would be a 25 minute wait. We ended up waiting an additional hour and could have taken the Alilaguna faster.

Unfortunately the guy dropped us @ the wrong location so that we must cross by feet to reach the hotel where nearly 20 meters a boatdock is located

Unclear Directions

There was a lot of confusion when we arrived. The reservation directions aren’t very clear. We were on a boat with 12 other people. It was very stressful finding our spot. I would suggest knowing some Italian. Our boat driver was a bit rude. They still expect to be tipped. Your experience here depends on the person who you get they rotate.
