We bought the delux two day tour so we could start our trip with the night tour. When we arrived we were told they oversold the tour for the top of the bus seats. We would need to arrive an hour early to get those seats. We opted to come back the next night. The following day we got on the bus and the bus driver said, “ if you get off the bus at Arlington, the last bus leaves at 5:00. Be there on time.” We got off at Arlington. We, and 20 other people were in the waiting area by 4:20 and we saw on the app that a bus was 8 minutes away. 20 minutes passed and the bus disappeared from the map and no one came. All 20 people were stranded. We counted support and talked to them for 40 minutes. They kept blaming us saying their schedule is posted and it was our fault. It was very frustrating. Definitely not with the money. In short we paid $60 each for a 30 minute ride to the cemetery only to be left behind.

Great drivers especially Miss Gail. Whenever I visit a city I get the 2 day tkt. The first day I ride the whole route. The next day I use for my transportation for the places I want to see. Includes a night tour which was fantastic.

Terrible experience with Viator!

We purchased tickets for the Hop On Hop Off tour in Washington DC and the company over booked this. When we arrived to the site the bus was already full, and a group of us did not get to go on it. They told me that if i call they would reimburse me. This has been a complete nightmare. I have called their customer service line just to be placed on hold and then they always hang up. Their chat feature is even worse. They start a chat and leave the chat half way. I was chatting with Marieneth then she disconnected and left me half way. Then Michelle took over the conversation and left it half way....Then Marieneth connects again and acts like it's the beginning of the chat, and starts asking the same questions I have already answered 3 times. Do not waste your money and book with them. They overbook and do not have any customer service.

There is so much to see. I had friends visiting from Florida who had one day to take in the sights. The Big Bus allowed us to see so much and we weren’t completely exhausted afterwards!

Disappointed

We were So excited to do the big bus tour as two of us have done it in other cities and it’s been fantastic. Unfortunately, that was not our experience on this particular big boss. There was only a record of commentary, not a real person. The commentary lasted for about the first 5 to 10 minutes and only spoke to the Washington monument. After that it was patriotic music and nothing else.
