Fun on DC

Jennifer was very knowledgeable and informative. It was my wife and my first gastronomic tour. We had a great group and became instant friends. We look forward to doing our next food tour.

Great food and a Good Value

This palate-pleasing walk was a highlight of our visit to DC. Our guide, Christian, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and welcoming to all. The meeting place was easy to find. The food was fabulous--we hadn't eaten lunch and didn't need dinner after enjoying the generous servings. We learned interesting history of the area.. Absolutely worth the ticket price. We'll definitely check these places out again when we return to DC. Tips: check weather radar to decide whether to bring a small umbrella, and wear comfortable, non-slip shoes. We were caught in a downpour and were soaked, but it didn't dampen our fun.

Sadly, I can’t recommend this tour.

While I our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, 2 of the 3 restaurants on the tour were dirty and the food was not good. It was very overpriced for what you got. We have done many of your tours before and they have been fantastic. This one did meet your usually standards.

Good, but consider new food venues.

The host/tour guide was very knowledgeable of local history. The food was good, not great. Georgetown values their historic buildings, so I'm assuming there might be different health/safety standards with some of those old buildings. Regardless, the first restaurant (I'll leave their name out) had a ceiling that was concerning. Paint chipping, multiple dripping leaks, and air vents with lots of caked-on dust. Kinda gross. Probably not a big deal, except this was going on right above the tables, so I'm sure a good portion ends up in food.

The food was absolutely amazing (and I am a VERY picky eater)! Our guide, Jennifer was very knowledgeable, did a great job engaging all members of the group, and was willing to connect us with other DC experiences. My kids had a great time, even though there was “learning involved”!

Wayne was a great tour guide. He knew a lot about the history of the area. The food was very good too, especially the gnocchi!

Excellent food and informative tour guide! Overall enjoyable day. We even got some exercise between restaurants with all the hills in Georgetown.
