There’s also the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the White House, Capitol Hill and the world-famous dome of the United States Capitol, plus the United States Supreme Court Building and the Library of Congress. Along the way, hear the historic stories and facts that make the city of Washington, DC one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.

Old equipment in need of repair

The trolley was old and brakes screeched. The headphones were not clear and often had a lot of static. Due to covid modifications, the trolley’s plexiglass divider reduced legroom and made it an uncomfortable two hours. The guide was engaging but it did not make up for equipment issues.

Wear warm clothes.

Very cold. Would save this for a warmer night. Kinda wanted something different than all the other tours . More driving and seeing lights I think this should be somehow different than other tours. If because of Covid blankets could not be provided a warning should be stated. Our Gide was very knowledgeable but included too much personal information.

Absolutely fantastic. This was one of the most enjoyable tours I have taken anywhere. The monuments at night were really gorgeous and we were so lucky to have Kevin who had more information than we could have hoped for. He made the tour so interesting and we were able to carouse around this beautiful city at a leisurely and enjoyable pace. If you only do one tour in DC, do this one!

We were running a little late getting to the meeting point but our tour operator was patient with us. The tour was filled with great insight into each place we passed and I learned way more than I thought I would. If you have the time, this is a recommended tour for those that enjoy history and architecture.
