Great experience, great tour guide, great photo stop points and the stops planned have lovely villages. The guide was kind and caring and also got to know you as well as pointed out good places to visit whilst in different villages. Great trip to also go alone if you don’t have anyone to go with.

A wonderful day travelling around the Yorkshire Dales with Mark our driver and guide and four others. This was the second day running that i had joined Mark on a tour. Mark has so must knowledge and gave us loads of info about the areas we visited and the facilities available. He is also a great driver and will help you with other things. The tour itself takes you around the Dales stopping at towns, and beautiful photo stops.You get enough for a early morning cup of tea and plenty of time for lunch. Mark is a good photographer, so just pass him your gear and he will take some lovely photos of you to add to your own photos.A truly great day out. I will take it again when i visit York. Very reccomended

Thanks to our tour guide Mark, who gave a wonderful commentary on places, history, and much more about how people live in this beautiful National Park. Visited many "charming" (his favourite word!) villages and made a lunch break at the Wensleydale Creameries where we were recommended to sample for free the local cheeses. Sadly, there was not enough time after cheese sampling, shopping and lunch in the very good cafe-restaurant to walk down into the village of Hawes, which must surely suffer a depletion of trade through coach tours making a beeline for this popular self-contained attraction. If I had this trip again, I would rather explore the village with its variety of independent shops and places to have lunch.

Thanks for providing a review and I note your comments about the 90 minute stop in Hawes over lunchtime. Our Guides always explain the alternative options at the places we stop then people make their own choices. It is well worth exploring the town of Hawes but, as you found, Wensleydale Creamery also has a lot to offer - we hope to see you again sometime then you can maybe enjoy the other options!

Very similar to the trip we took last fall, except that the last two stops were very strange - the second to last stop was in a very small village with one pub and one old historic church and took over 1 hour whereas the last stop, in Patley Bridge, which was far more interesting with many ore things to see, was just a drop off at the top of the high street and pick up at the bottom with only 1/2 hour to see whatever you could.

The Yorkshire Dale Trip had really great views, and we enjoyed our day. The driver/travel guide gave us some interesting facts at each stop as well as on our travels in the bus. If you like beautiful lush, green views, this tour is a must. The only down side of this tour was the lack of walking. I felt a bit trapped on the bus at times. We also felt a rushed at our stops. Overall, it was a lovely day out of York.
